I was fortunate to participate in the Flight Line experience that is offered at the Wild Animal Park. I enjoyed the animals more than I thought I would be able to. I had a great time. |
Last year's students paid for me to do a sunrise bike ride down Haleakala Crater in Hawaii. Being above the clouds and watching the sun rise is an amazing experience. Pictures alone cannot capture the feeling. To that end, it had more meaning this year than one could possibly imagine. And yes, it was that cold! |

This is my dad and I celebrating my birthday in 2007. Every year he gets me a bouquet of carnations for every year I am old. It has become an expensive proposition and I've even tried to let him out of it but he still continues. |
